GFXとMamiyaで撮る奈良の大地
大和葛城山（やまとかつらぎさん）は、奈良県御所市と大阪府南河内郡千早赤阪村との境に位置する標高959mの山。Mamiya Sekor C 80mm 1.9を付けていったけど、解像するレンズのほうがよかったのかなと。街まで遠すぎて空気の層が厚くてモヤッとしますね。
晴れ＋曇りの日に撮影に行くと、雲の合間から光がさしたりするので、結構幻想的な写真が撮れます。
あと写真見ていて思ったのだけど、望遠レンズだと圧縮効果が出て面白そうですね、稜線上の人撮ったりすると。
Capturing the Lands of Nara with GFX and Mamiya
Mt. Yamato Katsuragi, standing at 959 meters on the border of Nara and Osaka. I brought along my Mamiya Sekor C 80mm f/1.9, but I started to wonder if a higher-resolution lens might have been a better fit. The city was so far away that the thick layers of atmosphere created a soft, hazy rendering.
When you shoot on a day with a mix of sun and clouds, you can capture truly ethereal photos as the light breaks through the gaps. Reviewing my shots, I also realized that a telephoto lens would be fascinating here—using the compression effect to frame people walking along the ridgeline would create a very interesting perspective.
登山では終わってるかもしれないGFX
葛城山はロープウェイでいけるからいいんだけど、登山だとGFXは無理かな…と。100g級のレンズを探して計1kgぐらいで臨めば何とか…って感じだけど。登山はコンデジかAPS-C機 × 軽いズームレンズがよさそうで、Sigma Dp1 Merrillとか最高だったなと今になって思う。
けど、ちょっと昔だとD810 × Carlzeiss Milvus 50mm 1.4とかで登ってる時もあって、2Kgぐらいあるとおもうんだけど、3000M級とか登ってたので今考えると、無謀だなと。
The Weight of Quality: Climbing with a GFX
The GFX is a masterpiece, but for mountain climbing, it’s a heavy burden. I find myself longing for the days of the Sigma DP1 Merrill—compact yet powerful. I realized I used to haul a 2kg Nikon D810 and Milvus setup up 3,000-meter mountains. It was pure madness, but that’s the passion of photography, isn’t it? Nowadays, I’m searching for that perfect balance between weight and beauty.
