子供といったことのない公園に行こうって話になって、来たのが木津城址公園。
緩やかな丘の上に位置する広大な芝生と周囲の景色を見渡すパノラマビューが楽しめる、爽やかな隠れ家のような場所で、鉄道なども遠くからだけど撮れる場所でした。
久しぶりにNikkor 58mm 1.4を付けてみたけど、このレンズはなかなか難しいというか、買って手放す人が多いみたいですね。私もそうですが、手放して買い戻してます…そういうレンズです（笑
フルサイズ機で使うよりGFXで使ったほうが少し素直というか、使いやすいかもしれません。（ケラレも少しありますが、使えます。）画角度が46mmぐらいになるので、撮りやすいです。あとラージフォーマットなので、絞って撮るので絵的に余裕ありというか…。このレンズ難しい（面白い）ですよね…それゆえの買い戻してしまうのかも。
Revisiting the Nikkor 58mm f/1.4G on the GFX
Looking for a new spot to explore with my daughter, we ended up at Kizu Castle Ruins Park. It’s a wonderful, hidden gem with vast lawns atop a gentle hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape—a great spot to capture distant trains as well.
I decided to mount my Nikkor 58mm f/1.4G for the first time in a while. It’s notoriously difficult to master, and I know many photographers who have sold it—only to regret it and buy it back. I’m no exception (laugh).
Honestly, it might be more “well-behaved” on the GFX than on a full-frame body. The effective angle of view becomes roughly 46mm, which feels much more intuitive. Plus, with the large-format sensor, there’s so much more breathing room when stopping down. It’s a challenging, yet endlessly fascinating lens—perhaps that’s exactly why I keep coming back to it.
